Insurance Coverage & Bad Faith

The rights and obligations of parties to insurance contracts raise complicated and common legal issues.  Insurance affects everyone, and the existence or lack of coverage can greatly impact the outcome of any claim or case.  Mr.  Lorman has advised clients concerning the claims process and insurance claim related litigation, including general liability, life, title,  property and other insurance policies.  Such issues include the availability of insurance coverage, the interpretations of policy provisions and an insurer’s duty to defend.   Mr.  Lorman has negotiated disputed coverage claims and litigated insurance coverage and  "bad faith" issues arising from insurance disputes.
